Kreutzer 42 Studies for Violin : A study guide by Wps
Kreutzer's 42 studies vary in level of difficulty from easy to upper intermediate. There are three main areas which are presented in order :
 | 1-14 Work on fundamental bowing strokes (including détaché) and the movement of the hands (such as string crossing, position changing) |
| 15-22 Trills and left hand passage work (vertical finger mechanism or finger work) |
| 23-31 / 32-42 Work on intonation, simple strings / Double stops and sound. |
