Skyshark
The Skyshark P series rods are wrapped rods. They come in 2 types ; P100 and P200. They are basically the equivalent of a 4 wrap and a 6 wrap spar. The 100 does weigh about the same as a 5P but is not as stiff. They are very durable though. Last season breakages were nearly non existent. Now Skyshark have the new PT series - 2PT, 3PT, 5PT, 7PT. These are tapered wrapped rods and have managed to retain the stiffness, whilst being some of the most durable rods ever tried. At World Cup a standard kite there sparred with 5PT was lent to many people to fly and to try to break. In 25 mph of wind (not ideal with a standard sail ) and over the whole 5 days, 1 spar was broken. Amazing!!
