A. Memorising Melodies

The melodies are played twice. First you will hear the key chord, then the rhythm played on the starting note. Pupils are required to either sing or play back the melodies.

Try to remember the start of the melody, and if the phrase seems too long, you must practice each (smaller) half-phrase on its own. When you get better at that, try for the whole phrase.
